After the goalless draw against Crystal Palace in their opening league game, Chelsea returned to the winning track with a massive 1-5 win over West Ham United last week. Goals from Joao Pedro, Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, and Trevoh Chalobah secured a dominating victory at the London Stadium. Now the Blues are back at Stamford Bridge, and they will host Fulham FC on Saturday to play their 3rd league game.

Fulham, on the other hand, are still looking for their first win as they had two draws in their first two games. They had a 1-1 tie in the opening game against Brighton and also tied the match against Manchester United with the same scoreline. However, Fulham will travel to Stamford Bridge fresh off a 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup yesterday. But they desperately need a win in the League and can be a good threat to Chelsea.

There’s a massive concern over Cole Palmer’s fitness as he was removed from the starting XI just before the match started last Friday against West Ham United. Chelsea boss confirms that Cole Palmer has suffered from a groin injury and there is a good chance the English midfielder will miss the match against Fulham. Chelsea will also be without the services of Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile, Romeo Lavia, and Omari Kellyman due to their respective injuries, while Mykhaylo Mudryk is out of the squad due to suspension.

As for Fulham, Harry Wilson is in doubt after he picked up a knock in the Carabao Cup match. Raul Jimenez was brilliant in the Carabao Cup, but he is likely to sacrifice his place in the starting XI as Rodrigo Muniz is the favorite to lead the attack against Chelsea.
