The UEFA Nations League is all set to return, and there will be several high-voltage matches tomorrow in this competition. European giant Italy will face off against Belgium tomorrow away from home. The Azzurri have been doing very well in the UEFA Nation League under Luciano Spalletti and are the only unbeaten team in Group B, having won three of their five matches. They stand at the top of the table with 10 points, and only one more point will secure their place in the round of 16.
Meanwhile, the Belgium football federation has appointed Domenico Tedesco as their new head coach when the team is struggling. They are winless in their last three games in the UEFA Nations League, including two defeats.
Additionally, internal problems are going on in the Belgium squad. Captain Thibaut Courtois has already confirmed that he will not play for the national team as long as Domenico Tedesco remains the coach.
“Unfortunately, following the events with the coach and after much reflection, I have decided not to return to the Belgian national team under his management. In this matter, I accept my share of responsibility. However, looking forward, my lack of confidence in him would not contribute to maintaining the necessary atmosphere of cordiality. The Federation, with whom I have had several discussions, accepts my position and the reasons that led me to this painful but coherent decision. I regret possibly disappointing some fans, but I am convinced that this is the best course of action for Belgium, as it closes a debate and allows the team to focus on pursuing its goals,” Courtois said on his official Instagram account. Let’s see how Belgium can overcome and play against Italy in this do-or-die match.

As for Italy, Gianluca Scamacca and Giorgio Scalvini are the long-term absentees for the Azzurri. Arsenal defender Ricardo Calafiori is also unavailable due to his injury, while Samuele Ricci is out of the team due to his thigh injury.
