The semifinal of the Carabao Cup starts tonight with the first leg between Liverpool and Fulham. Anfield is all set to feature this crucial match as Liverpool are eying to get one step closer to getting a silverware this season.

Liverpool have been doing great in the Premier League. With 45 points from 20 games, Liverpool are at the top of the league table and are three points ahead of the second-placed Aston Villa. As Manchester City and Arsenal have already dropped some crucial points, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp sees the opportunity to grab his second league title with Liverpool. But Klopp does not miss the chance to win the Carabao Cup also. They are just a few steps away from lifting the trophy, and tonight’s clash is the first stair to get closer to the silverware.

Fulham, on the other hand, are in the middle of the point table. They stand 13th with 24 points. However, Fulham did a fantastic job in the quarterfinal of this tournament, eliminating Everton FC in the penalty shootout.

Anfield has always been a tough place for the opponents. It’s been a fortress for Liverpool. Although they will be without their several key players, they still are able to beat Fulham FC. The Klopp boys are in a good rhythm and should defeat Fulham FC in tonigt’s game.

On the other hand, Fulham made a dramatic turnaround in their most recent league game. Despite conceding an early goal, they stunned Arsenal and sealed the match by a 2-1 margin, which would be a great inspiration for them in tonight’s match against Liverpool.
