Open calculatorShort answer: this hub gives you 14 free betting calculators for pricing a market, sizing stakes, balancing a hedge and estimating return. Start with the decision you need to make, not the most advanced-looking tool.
The calculators model the numbers you enter. They do not fetch live odds, reserve a price, verify a promotion, convert currencies or guarantee that every part of a planned position will be accepted.
Which betting calculator should you use?
I found prices for every outcome
Use the surebet calculator to test the combined implied probability and split one same-currency stake across 2 to 10 outcomes. Use the vig calculator when you want to remove the bookmaker margin and compare fair probabilities without sizing stakes.
I am using a promotion or free bet
Use the matched betting calculator for qualifying bets, stake-not-returned free bets and stake-returned free bets. It shows the lay stake, exchange liability and modeled result on either side. Read the matched betting guide first if back bets, lay bets or liability are unfamiliar.
I already have an open position
Use the hedge calculator to balance an existing back or lay position after entering the price and stake already accepted. Use the lay-to-back calculator when you want the back price equivalent of a lay position. Neither tool can remove exposure that has already been accepted under different settlement rules.
I need to divide one stake across selections
Use the dutching calculator to distribute one total stake across several selections for a similar modeled return. Every possible settlement must be included if you intend to cover the complete market.
I need to understand a price or fee
Use the odds converter to move between decimal, fractional and American formats. Use the exchange commission calculator to compare a gross back price with one simplified commission model. Always check how the exact platform nets winnings and applies account-specific fees.
I am reviewing long-term performance
Use the betting ROI and EV calculator to calculate return on investment from completed results or estimate expected value from a probability assumption. Historical ROI does not prove that the same edge will continue, and an uncalibrated probability can make an EV result meaningless.
I am modeling an offer sequence
Use the 2UP early payout calculator for a two-stage payout and hedge scenario. Use the sequential lay calculator for a planned series of lay positions. These models depend on every entered rule and price remaining valid at the stage where it is used.
I am estimating Stake VIP progress or bonuses
The Stake wager and VIP level calculator, Stake weekly bonus calculator and Stake monthly bonus calculator use disclosed community-derived estimates. Stake does not publish the complete formulas. Treat the outputs as ranges for understanding, never as official values or a reason to increase wagering.
What each result can and cannot tell you
A calculator is useful when the input, formula and output match the real decision. It becomes misleading when one visible percentage hides a different settlement method, currency, fee base or incomplete market.
- Odds are snapshots: the price can move before every planned bet is accepted.
- Requested is not accepted: an exchange order can be unmatched or partly matched.
- Commission methods differ: a platform can charge on net market winnings, individual positions or another base.
- Rules can conflict: overtime, void, retirement and dead-heat treatment may differ between platforms.
- Rounding changes outcomes: accepted stake increments can make the final returns unequal.
- Currency symbols do not convert funds: use one currency unless you separately include a current rate and every conversion cost.
A five-step calculation check
- Confirm the event, market, period and every outcome before copying a price.
- Enter the final odds, stake, fee method and promotion type shown in the applicable account.
- Read the assumptions beside the calculator and compare them with the operator rules.
- Check every outcome result, liability and total cash exposure, not just a green percentage.
- Recalculate after any changed price, partial acceptance, limit, void or rounded stake.
Calculator, scanner and betting account are different tools
A calculator works from numbers supplied by you. It does not search the market. A scanner can surface price differences but does not guarantee that two selections use compatible rules or that the displayed amounts remain available. A betting account accepts and settles the actual transaction under its own contract.
Use the surebetting software guide when your task is discovering prices rather than calculating them. Use the betting exchange comparison guide when you need to evaluate liquidity, matching, fees, custody and legal protection.
Responsible use
Mathematical balance does not remove operator, execution, legal or human-error risk. Set the maximum total exposure before opening any betting slip, use only money you can afford to lose and never add a new bet simply to recover a failed hedge or previous loss.
If gambling affects bills, sleep, work or relationships, stop and use time-out or self-exclusion tools. Our responsible gambling policy lists practical checks and support routes.
