Every figure on this page is a community-sourced estimate, because Stake does not publish its exact thresholds.

How the calculator works out your rank

The tool compares your position against a ladder of estimated wager thresholds. You choose your current rank from the dropdown, from Non VIP through to Obsidian, and set how far you are through it with the progress slider. The calculator then works out the gap to the next rank and shows two figures: the extra sports wager and the extra casino wager still required. It reads from the same estimated thresholds listed in the table below, so the tool and the table never disagree.

Rank is driven by cumulative wagering, not by deposits or time on site, so the number that matters is your total staked. Sports and casino also sit on separate ladders. A given rank is reached at a lower casino volume than it is on sports, so the calculator reports the two paths side by side rather than blending them into one number. Use the currency selector to switch the output between USD, EUR, GBP, INR, BRL, NOK and SEK, and the remaining-wager figures convert automatically.

The progress slider matters because a single rank spans a wide band of wagering. Setting it to 0% assumes you have only just arrived at your current rank, while 100% assumes you are on the edge of the next one. If you know your total staked, place it within the band between your rank and the next to choose the right percentage, and the estimate of what remains will be far more accurate.

Estimated Stake VIP rank thresholds

The full estimated ladder runs from Bronze, your first rank, up to the top-tier Obsidian, and the reference table on this page lists the approximate lifetime wager needed for every rank on both the sportsbook and in the casino. The key milestones, all community-sourced estimates: Bronze starts at about $50,000 wagered on sports (or $10,000 in the casino), Silver at $100,000 ($50,000 casino), Gold at $500,000 ($250,000 casino), Platinum I at $1,000,000 ($500,000 casino), and Diamond I at $100,000,000 ($50,000,000 casino), climbing to $5,000,000,000 for Obsidian. Casino thresholds are consistently lower than the sports ones.

Read the table by finding the highest rank whose wager you have already passed: that is your current tier, and the row beneath it is your next target. The calculator above runs the same lookup, then subtracts what you have staked to show the wager that remains.

Worked examples: reading your wager against the thresholds

The quickest way to understand the ladder is to place your own wager on it. Each example below uses the estimated thresholds in the table, and the calculator returns the same figures once you set your rank and progress.

1. $300,000 wagered on sports. That is past the $100,000 Silver threshold but short of the $500,000 Gold threshold, so you sit at Silver. To reach Gold you need $500,000 minus $300,000, which is $200,000 more sports wager.
2. $120,000 wagered in the casino. Casino thresholds are lower, so this clears the $50,000 Silver mark but not the $250,000 Gold mark. You are Silver on the casino ladder and need $250,000 minus $120,000, which is $130,000 more casino wager to reach Gold.
3. $1,500,000 wagered on sports. This clears the $1,000,000 Platinum I threshold but not the $2,000,000 Platinum II threshold, so you are Platinum I. Reaching Platinum II takes $2,000,000 minus $1,500,000, which is $500,000 more sports wager.
4. $60,000,000 wagered on sports. Up in the high tiers this clears the $50,000,000 Platinum VI threshold but not the $100,000,000 Diamond I threshold, so you are Platinum VI. Reaching Diamond I takes $100,000,000 minus $60,000,000, which is $40,000,000 more sports wager.

To match the first example in the tool, you would select Silver and set the progress slider to about 50%, because $300,000 sits halfway along the $100,000 to $500,000 band up to Gold. The calculator then returns the same $200,000 of remaining sports wager, which is the value of showing your work by hand first.

Notice how the gap widens as you climb. The step from Silver to Gold is a few hundred thousand, while the steps between the highest tiers run into the tens of millions and beyond.

Sports and casino ladders are not the same

Stake tracks sports and casino wagering on two separate scales, and in these estimates the casino ladder reaches each rank at a lower wager than the sports ladder. Bronze is about $50,000 on sports but only $10,000 in the casino. Gold is an estimated $500,000 of sports wager against around $250,000 in the casino. The same halving carries up the ladder, so Platinum I is roughly $1,000,000 on sports and $500,000 in the casino.

That is why the calculator never collapses your progress into a single figure. If you play both products you are climbing both ladders at once, and the tool shows the remaining wager for each so you can see which one is closer. A player who sticks mostly to the casino will usually reach a given rank sooner than a pure sports bettor who has staked the same total amount.

The practical takeaway is simple. If reaching a specific rank is the goal and you enjoy both products, casino wagering moves you up for less volume, while sports wagering asks for more. The calculator keeps that trade-off visible by never merging the two remaining-wager figures into one.

Common misconceptions

• The thresholds are not official. Stake does not publish exact rank requirements. Every figure here is a community-sourced estimate that we keep dated and transparent, so treat the numbers as a well-informed guide rather than a contract.
• Rank is lifetime wager, not a weekly target. Your rank is based on cumulative wagering that carries over week to week. You do not reset each week, and the calculator measures the total distance to the next tier, not a seven-day figure.
• Higher ranks cost exponentially more. The gap between tiers grows fast. Reaching Gold is a step of a few hundred thousand, but the Diamond and Obsidian tiers run into the hundreds of millions and billions of estimated wager. Expect the climb to steepen sharply near the top.
• You cannot buy a rank outright. Ranks reflect wagers actually placed, so a large deposit does not lift your tier on its own. Deposits and time on the site do not count towards the ladder; only staked money does.

How to use the calculator

• Select your current rank from the dropdown, anywhere from Non VIP to Obsidian.
• Set your progress through that rank with the slider, from 0% (just arrived) to 100% (about to level up).
• Choose your currency if you want the result in something other than USD; INR and five others are supported.
• Read the two figures the tool returns: the sports wager and the casino wager still needed to reach the next tier.
• Plan from there. If the gap is large, factor in reloads, rakeback and promotions before deciding how much more to wager, and only ever stake what you can afford to lose.

What each rank earns

Climbing the ladder is only worthwhile for the rewards each tier unlocks. Higher ranks carry larger reloads, more rakeback, faster withdrawals, a dedicated VIP host and invitations to exclusive events. Here is the rough shape of the benefits as you move up:

Thresholds in Indian rupees (INR)

For players in India, the calculator can show every figure in rupees. The conversion is a straightforward display rate of about 1 USD to 82.95 INR, applied to the same USD estimates. Nothing about the underlying ladder changes; only the currency on screen does.

At that rate, the estimated $50,000 Bronze sports threshold shows as roughly 4,147,500 INR, and the $500,000 Gold sports threshold as about 41,475,000 INR. The $200,000 sports gap from Silver to Gold in the first worked example converts to around 16,590,000 INR. Switch the currency selector to INR to see your own remaining wager in rupees, and bear in mind that exchange rates move, so treat the rupee figures as an approximate display conversion.

For a quick sense of scale in familiar units, the $500,000 Gold sports threshold of about 41,475,000 INR is roughly 4.15 crore, while the Bronze figure of 4,147,500 INR is close to 41.5 lakh. On the casino ladder, the $250,000 Gold threshold works out to around 20,737,500 INR, or about 2.07 crore. These are display conversions only, so the wager you actually place is still counted in the currency you bet with.

To be clear about the numbers on this page: Stake does not publish its VIP thresholds, so every figure here is a community-sourced estimate drawn from player reports and kept dated. They are accurate enough to plan with, but they are not guaranteed, and Stake can change its programme at any time. Nothing here promises a specific rank, bonus or payout.
