Stake Wager & VIP Level Calculator October 2026

Stake's VIP programme rewards how much you wager over time, not how much you deposit or how long you have played. The more your lifetime wager grows, the higher the rank you unlock. The calculator at the top of this page turns that ladder into one clear readout: set where you are now and it works out how much more you need to wager to reach the next tier. Every threshold here is Stake's own, taken from its VIP programme help article, which Stake last updated on 24 August 2026 and we checked on 7 October 2026.

How the calculator works out your rank

The tool places you on Stake's published ladder. You choose your current rank from the dropdown, from Non VIP through to Obsidian, and set how far you are through it with the progress slider. The calculator then works out the gap to the next rank and shows it two ways: as casino wager, and as sports wager. It reads from the same thresholds listed in the table below, so the tool and the table never disagree.

Rank is driven by cumulative wagering, not by deposits or time on site, so the number that matters is your total staked. There is one ladder, not two. Stake counts every dollar you bet on sports as three dollars of progress, so the sports figure is always a third of the casino figure. The two numbers are alternatives, not a sum: close the gap entirely in the casino, entirely on sports, or with any mix of the two. Use the currency selector to switch the output between USD, EUR, GBP, INR, BRL, NOK and SEK, and the remaining-wager figures convert automatically.

The progress slider matters because a single rank spans a wide band of wagering. Setting it to 0% assumes you have only just arrived at your current rank, while 100% assumes you are on the edge of the next one. If you know your total staked, place it within the band between your rank and the next to choose the right percentage, and the figure for what remains will be far more accurate.

Stake's VIP rank thresholds

The ladder runs from Bronze, your first rank, up to Obsidian at the top, and the reference table on this page lists the lifetime wager each rank needs, in the casino and on sports. Stake states the requirement in casino terms: Bronze at $10,000, Silver at $50,000, Gold at $100,000, Platinum I at $250,000, Platinum VI at $10,000,000, Diamond I at $25,000,000 and Obsidian at $1,000,000,000. On sports each of those is a third as much, so Bronze takes about $3,333 of sports wager and Gold about $33,333.

Read the table by finding the highest rank whose wager you have already passed: that is your current tier, and the row beneath it is your next target. The calculator above runs the same lookup, then subtracts what you have staked to show the wager that remains.

Worked examples: reading your wager against the thresholds

The quickest way to understand the ladder is to place your own wager on it. Each example below uses the thresholds in the table, and counts a sports dollar as three dollars of progress.

1. $120,000 wagered in the casino. That is past the $100,000 Gold threshold but short of Platinum I at $250,000, so you sit at Gold. To reach Platinum I you need $130,000 more in the casino, or about $43,333 on sports.
2. $60,000 wagered on sports. Counted three times, that is $180,000 of progress: Gold again, $70,000 short of Platinum I. You need $70,000 more in the casino, or about $23,333 more on sports.
3. $200,000 in the casino and $100,000 on sports. The sports part counts as $300,000, so your progress is $500,000, exactly the Platinum II threshold. Platinum III sits at $1,000,000, so you need $500,000 more in the casino, or about $166,667 on sports.
4. $9,000,000 wagered on sports. That is $27,000,000 of progress, past Diamond I at $25,000,000 and short of Diamond II at $50,000,000. Reaching Diamond II takes $23,000,000 more in the casino, or about $7,666,667 on sports.

To match the first example in the tool, select Gold and set the progress slider to 13%, because $120,000 sits a little over an eighth of the way along the $100,000 to $250,000 band. The calculator returns $130,500 of casino wager or $43,500 on sports, the same answer to within the slider's one-⁠per-⁠cent steps.

Notice how the gap widens as you climb. The step from Silver to Gold is $50,000 of casino wager, while the step from Diamond IV to Diamond V is $250,000,000.

Why a sports dollar counts three times

Stake's help article puts it plainly: wagering $1 on sports is equivalent to $3 in its regular wagering calculations. It does not say why. What it means is that the two products share one ladder, with sports weighted three times.

For you it means the same rank costs far less volume on sports. Bronze is $10,000 in the casino or about $3,333 on sports. Gold is $100,000 or about $33,333, and Platinum I is $250,000 or about $83,333. If you play both, nothing is wasted: every bet adds to the same progress figure, at its own weight.

The practical takeaway is simple. If reaching a specific rank is the goal and you enjoy both products, sports wagering moves you up for a third of the volume. That is a statement about the ladder, not about value: the house edge still applies to every bet, and a rank is a loyalty reward, not a return.

Common misconceptions

• Sports and casino are not separate ladders. Stake keeps one progress figure. Casino wagers count at face value and sports wagers count three times, so mixed play still adds up to a single rank.
• Rank is lifetime wager, not a weekly target. Your rank is based on cumulative wagering that carries over week to week. You do not reset each week, and the calculator measures the total distance to the next tier, not a seven-⁠day figure.
• Higher ranks cost exponentially more. The gap between tiers grows fast. Reaching Gold from Silver takes $50,000 in the casino, but Diamond V and Obsidian sit at $500,000,000 and $1,000,000,000. Expect the climb to steepen sharply near the top.
• You cannot buy a rank outright. Ranks reflect wagers actually placed, so a large deposit does not lift your tier on its own. Deposits and time on the site do not count towards the ladder; only staked money does.

How to use the calculator

• Select your current rank from the dropdown, anywhere from Non VIP to Obsidian.
• Set your progress through that rank with the slider, from 0% (just arrived) to 100% (about to level up).
• Choose your currency if you want the result in something other than USD; INR and five others are supported.
• Read the two figures the tool returns: the casino wager, or the sports wager, that would close the gap on its own. Any mix of the two works.
• Plan from there. If the gap is large, factor in rakeback and bonuses before deciding how much more to wager, and only ever stake what you can afford to lose.

What each rank earns

Climbing the ladder is only worthwhile for the rewards it unlocks. Stake's help article lists them, without publishing the amounts per rank:

• Rakeback for every VIP member, returned as a percentage of what you bet.
• Weekly boosts, issued every Saturday at 12:30 GMT through Stake's VIP Telegram channel.
• A monthly bonus by email, based on your VIP level and recent wagers.
• A daily reload from Platinum, based on what you wagered over the previous 7 to 42 days, plus a VIP host once you reach a high level.

Thresholds in Indian rupees (INR)

For players in India, the calculator can show every figure in rupees. The conversion is a display rate of about 1 USD to 96.43 INR, the European Central Bank cross of 6 October 2026, applied to the same dollar thresholds. Nothing about the underlying ladder changes; only the currency on screen does.

At that rate, the $10,000 Bronze threshold shows as roughly 964,251 INR in the casino, or about 321,417 INR on sports. The $100,000 Gold threshold is about 9,642,510 INR, and the $130,000 casino gap in the first worked example converts to around 12,535,263 INR, or about 4,178,421 INR if you close it on sports. Switch the currency selector to INR to see your own remaining wager in rupees, and bear in mind that exchange rates move, so treat the rupee figures as an approximate display conversion.

For a quick sense of scale in familiar units, the Gold threshold of about 9,642,510 INR is roughly 96 lakh, while the $250,000 Platinum I threshold of about 24,106,275 INR is around 2.4 crore. These are display conversions only, so the wager you actually place is still counted in the currency you bet with.

What this page does not give is a bonus amount per rank: Stake does not publish those, and nothing here promises a specific rank, bonus or payout.

Chasing a VIP rank means wagering more, so keep it in perspective. A higher rank is a loyalty reward for money already staked, not a way to profit, and the house edge applies at every tier. Set a budget, treat any reload as a bonus rather than income, and only wager what you can comfortably afford to lose.
