After losing the opening league game against Man City, Chelsea FC have recovered brilliantly and secured 10 points from the possible 12 points. The London side club is in good shape and hopes to continue like this. Chelsea are now back in action in the English Premier League following their dominating 5-0 win in the Carabao Cup. Today, they will take on Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea captain Reece James is still recovering from his hamstring injury. However, Romeo Lavia is finally back after having a long injury problem. “Romeo will give us more or less the same as Moises Caicedo. He played one league game for us this season against City and I think it was a very good game from Romeo, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca talked about Lavia.
Chelsea do not have new fresh injury concerns ahead of the match. But changes are likely to come as Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, and Cole Palmer are expected to recall after having a rest during the Carabao Cup game.
As for Brighton, attacker Joao Pedro is surely unavailable following his injury against Wolverhampton. Matt O’Riley, Solly March, and James Milner also remain out of the squad due to their respective injuries.
