The injury list for Chelsea is massive. Their long injury list includes Cesar Azpilicueta, Raheem Sterling, Wesley Fofana, Armando Broja, and Thiago Silva. However, Mason Mount is back from the injury. But there are rumors that Mount may leave the club in the upcoming transfer window. Graham Potter also talked about Mount’s future at Chelsea. He said, “These things are really complicated. It’s not necessarily about my opinion, it’s also the player, it’s about the club. It’s about lots of things that I’m not in control of.”
The manager added, “All I can do is give my opinion of him as a footballer and as a person. I have nothing but positive things to say about Mason as a lad. He has been brilliant with us, really supportive, but it’s also between him and the club in terms of how they can sort out the situation.”
Anyway, Aston Villa will also miss several players due to injury. Right-back Matty Cash is out of the squad at least for four weeks due to a calf injury. Jed Steer and Philippe Coutinho are also unavailable ahead of tonight’s clash.
