Football fans expected a battle, but they witnessed a coronation. On a colourful night in Spain, Barcelona didn’t just beat Newcastle United; they humiliated and destroyed the English side with a strong performance that will be talked about for years. A Wild First Half
The game started very fast. Barcelona took the lead in the 6th minute. Raphinha scored the first goal after a quick team move. However, Newcastle United did not give up early. Only nine minutes later, Anthony Elanga scored for Newcastle to make it 1–1. The match stayed very close for the next twenty minutes. Marc Bernal, a young midfielder for Barcelona, scored to make it 2–1. But Newcastle fought back again. Elanga scored his second goal of the night in the 28th minute.
