After weeks of drama, Harry Kane finally signed for German Club FC Bayern Munich. Harry Kane made his debut last for Bayern Munich as the Bavarians welcomed RB Leipzig at DFL Supercup. However, Kane’s debut was disappointing as RB Leipzig ran riot over the home team and won the Silverware.
Harry Kane landed in Germany 48 hours ago and was in the squad to play the DFL Supercup. But he shared his feelings on his verified social media account before the match.
“Been an incredible welcome for me and my family in Munich in the last 24 hours! Buzzing to have signed for such a massive club with an incredible history, can’t wait to get started!” Harry Kane wrote.

At Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich welcomed RB Leipzig to play the DFL Supercup. Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel set up the team formation with 4-2-3-1, where Mathys Tel played as the center-forward. Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala, and Serge Gnabry played just behind the striker. At the same time, Leipzig’s manager played his team in a 4-2-2-2.
The match started with both sides playing very aggressively. But RB Leipzig surprised the home team at the very beginning of the game. Leipzig’s Spanish forward Dani Olmo drew the first blood as he found the net in just three minutes of the match.
Bayern had a great chance to level the scoreline in the 10th minute, but Leipzig’s goalkeeper Janis Blaswich made an incredible save to keep the scoreline the same.
Bayern Munich created so many chances, but Janis Blaswich dropped a heroic performance for RB Leipzig. On the other hand, Dani Olmo was very ruthless against the home side. He completed his brace just before half-time, finding the net in the 44th minute.
Coming back from the break, Bayern tried their best and fought for their lives. The manager deployed Harry Kane in the 64th minute, replacing Mathys Tel. But Bayern couldn’t break Leipzig’s defense to score goals.
Moreover, Leipzig earned a penalty kick as Noussair Mazraoui made a handball inside Bayern’s box. Dani Olmo came in to take the spot kick and made no mistake! His heroic hattrick secured the victory for RB Leipzig and earned the first trophy of the new season.

Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel is very disappointed by the defeat against RB Leipzig. “We’re disappointed. We created chances in the first half and then conceded simple goals at the other end,” the manager said.
Thomas Tuchel added, “The discrepancy between the form, the mood, and what we see out on the pitch is big. The willingness, enjoyment of play, form, and condition we played with in the friendly matches has nothing to do with how we played today.”
