The new season is about to start, and every club is making the best preparations ahead of the new season. Real Madrid had a fairy tale season the previous year, winning their 15th Champions League and 36th league title. The Los Blancos are looking to continue their trump once again in the upcoming season.
However, Real Madrid are all set to have a heavyweight clash when they face off against AC Milan tonight. After winning the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund, it will be Real Madrid’s first heavyweight game. Meanwhile, AC Milan have made a brilliant start in the pre-season. They defeated the Premier League Champions, Manchester City, following an intense fight.
Real Madrid have signed Kylian Mbappe as a free agent from PSG, but it is still uncertain whether he will play against AC Milan. Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is likely to experiment with young players against AC Milan. He said, “We love to get a look at the young players from the youth academy, we have many quality players and this is a good moment for them.”
However, the Los Blancos will miss the service of their midfield maestro, Tony Kroos, as he retired from football. Kroos was one of the key players at Real Madrid and without him, Real Madrid have to change their playing style. “Vertical play was what we wanted also when Kroos was in the team. Getting into the opposition half quickly gives you more opportunities to create problems for the opposition,” said Carlo Ancelotti.
But the manager believes he has enough options to replace Kroos. Ancelotti stated that the playing style will change but not much. “With or without Kroos it’s an idea we have. Bellingham is a player who has the quality to get into the box. The closer he is, the better he is. We have midfielders like Ceballos, Modrić, Tchouameni, Camavinga or Valverde. I’m not saying we’re going to play the same way, something will change, but not much,” said the manager.

Real Madrid have several Brazilian players such as Eder Militao, Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr, and more. But due to their involvement with Brazil in the Copa America, Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Militao will miss their first pre-season game with Real Madrid tomorrow.
However, Endricks arrived in North America with the rest of the squad to play the pre-season match against AC Milan. With the absence of Vinicius and Rodrygo, Endrick will be the main man in the front along with Latasa and Diaz.
As for AC Milan, they signed Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid. But he is yet to play for the Rossonerri. AC Milan also signed Alex Jimenez this summer for £4.3m, and he is likely to make his debut tomorrow against Real Madrid.
Possible Lineup for Real:
Courtois; Vazquez, Vallejo, Rudiger, Garcia; Ceballos, Paz, Guler; Diaz, Endrick, Latasa
Possible Lineup for AC Milan:
Torriani; Calabria, Tomori, Gabbia, Terracciano; Pobega, Bennacer; Chukwueze, Loftus-Cheek, Saelemaekers; Colombo
Prediction: Real Madrid 1-2 AC Milan
AC Milan had a brilliant comeback against Manchester City in their first pre-season game. The Rossonerri will try everything to maintain the winning momentum. Meanwhile, with the absence of several key players, it would be very difficult for the Los Blancos to beat AC Milan tomorrow.
