The Summer Transfer Window is going on, and English club Manchester United already have started their pre-season. The Red Devils played one of their eight pre-season games, where Man United beat Leeds United. Man United’s only signing Mason Mount played his first-ever game for the Red Devils with this match.

As of today, Manchester United completed only one signing. They brought Mason Mount from Chelsea. However, the Red Devils are also in contact with some of the players, and they are also willing to offload some footballers.

What’s going on about Andre Onana?

It is no secret that Manchester United desperately want Andre Onana before their US tour. According to many reports, Man United and Inter Milan have already reached an agreement regarding the transfer of Andre Onana. Manchester United will pay around €‎55m, including €‎5 add-ons.

The deal is almost done, but Man United or Inter Milan haven’t announced it yet. This is because Inter Milan are dealing with Romelu Lukaku’s situation. They are trying to figure it out with Chelsea over Lukaku’s future.

Romelu Lukaku is very keen to return to the Italian giant. Inter Milan is also interested to bring back the Belgium striker. But the Italian side do not want to overpay for him. Chelsea want €‎30m to let Lukaku leave, which Inter denied to pay. As soon as the Lukaku issue is resolved, Inter Milan will bid farewell to Andre Onana. But Man United are pushing hard to complete the signing of Andre Onana.

Man United yet to get a striker

A genuine number nine has been a long priority for Manchester United. English captain Harry Kane and Nigerian striker Victory Osimhen are the primary target for Erik Ten Hag. But as it stands, it has become complicated to sign any of them. Serie A side Napoli do not want to talk for Osimhen. They set a price tag of €‎170m for this striker. So it is very unlike to sign Osimhen this summer.

Harry Kane, on the other hand, has been a top priority for Erik Ten Hag. But Bayern Munich are the front-runner for Kane. Bayern already made two proposals for Harry Kane, which Tottenham turned down. But Bayern’s officials had a meeting with Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy. Bayern remain confident to sign the English striker.

Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeness talked about the potential transfer of Kane. He believes Kane will join Bayern Munich sooner or later. Hoeness said, “Harry Kane has clearly signalled in all conversations that his decision stands – and if he keeps to his word, then we’ll get him, because then Tottenham will have to buckle.”

Fred and Maguire to leave Man United

West Ham United showed their interest to sign Man United’s captain Harry Maguire. Maguire knows his game time will be limited next season. Therefore, he is considering leaving the club.

The same goest for Fred. Due to the arrival of Mason Mount, Fred doesn’t think he will be the regular starter for Man United. Fulham United and some of the Saudi clubs are interested in Fred. The next few days will be crucial to know the future of these two players.
