The transfer saga going on in European football. Harry Kane’s future remains uncertain at Tottenham Hotspur, while Manchester United are closer than ever to sign Andre Onana from Inter Milan. However, Manchester United are also considering selling some players, including Fred.

Andre Onana will sign for Man United

It is almost done! Inter Milan’s goalkeeper Andre Onana is very close to his move to the English Premier League. Onana is set to sign for Manchester United this week.

There has been a long negotiation between Manchester United and Inter Milan for Andre Onana. Manchester United have been trying to get him this summer transfer window. But after the departure of David De Gea, the possibility became stronger. However, Andre Onana is keen to join Manchester United. He already agreed on personal terms with the English club. Therefore, personal terms will not be an issue for the player.

Anyway, Inter Milan turned down Man United’s initial two bids. They have been asking for €60m for Onana. There has been a valuation gap between the two parties.

However, Manchester United and Inter Milan’s officials had a meeting yesterday. Both sides are positive to make the deal done. They both have reached an agreement for Onana. Inter Milan have accepted Man United’s offer of €55m package for Andre Onana. Man United will pay a guaranteed €50m upfront, and a further €5m will be added as add-ons. Last night, both parties discussed the payment structure. However, Onana will sign for Manchester United this week as both clubs feel positive about the deal.

Besides, Inter Milan have already started exploring other options to replace Andre Onana. They are interested in signing Yann Sommer from the German club, FC Bayern Munich.

Harry Kane to Bayern?

Harry Kane is one of the top targets for Manchester United. But they never submitted an official bid for the English skipper. Besides, Bayern Munich are heavily interested in signing the Spurs striker.

Their first bid was €70m, which Tottenham Hotspur turned down immediately. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has always insisted that Kane is not for sale.

However, Harry Kane has entered the final year of his contract. As of now, Kane has no intention to extend his contract with the Spurs. As a result, Bayern Munich feel confident to sign the striker.

Last night, they had a meeting with the Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy. Bayern’s CEO Jan Christian and the technical director Marco Neppe attended the meeting. But they couldn’t reach an agreement on Harry Kane’s future.

Ange Postecoglou on Kane

Ange Postecoglou, the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur, had his first press conference last night. He talked about Kane’s future at Tottenham Hotspur. The manager said, “I haven’t had any assurances over Kane’s future, and I wouldn’t expect any assurances because with these kind of things you’re never dealing in definites or certainties.”
