Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos bid farewell to PSG
Living legends Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos have bid farewell to PSG after playing for two seasons together. Last night, they both played their last game for Paris Saint-Germain, but they failed to win their final game as PSG lost to Clermont by a 2-3 margin.
However, PSG officially announced the departure of Messi and Ramos. Their statement reads, “After two seasons with PSG, the adventure between Leo Messi and Paris Saint-Germain will come to an end at the end of the 2022-23 campaign. The Club wishes Leo, with undeniable emotion, many more accomplishments for the rest of his career.”
Messi also shared his thoughts on leaving PSG. He said, “Thanks to the club, the city of Paris and its residents for these two years and I wish them the best in the future.”
On the other hand, Sergio Ramos thanked PSG. On his official Instagram account, Ramos wrote, “The icing on the cake after two years I’ll always remember. Thank you, Paris. That’s number 29.”
Anyway, AL Hilal’s bid of 400 million Euros is still on the table for Lionel Messi. Inter Miami are also interested for Messi since last year. But it is FC Barcelona who are the frontrunner to sign Lionel Messi. Their top priority is to bring back their biggest star. Barca boss Xavi said, “The priorities are very clear. I would really like Messi to return. I have spoken with him.”
Hazard leaves Real Madrid
Eden Hazard, who was in brilliant form at Chelsea, joined Real Madrid in 2019. But the Belgium international failed to show his potential at Real Madrid.
