The last season was a total disaster for Manchester United and marked one of the worst seasons in the club’s history. Manager Ruben Amorim is working hard to recover and has already begun exploring the transfer market to sign players who can change the situation and help them win trophies in the upcoming season.

The Red Devils have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and they are now working to bring Bryan Mbeumo and Victor Gyokeres in this summer transfer window.

Matheus Cunha

Matheus Cunha joined Manchester United as the first summer signing of Man United. The Brazilian had the option to play in the Champions League as Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur were interested in signing him. But Matheus Cunha refused to join those clubs and chose to play for Manchester United.

The Red Devils have paid £62.5m release clause for Cunha. Man United already have released an official statement about signing the Brazilian winger. However, Cunha has not arrived at Carrington as he is on duty with the National team.

Mbeumo

Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo had a fantastic season. He has scored 20 goals and provided 7 assists last season in the English Premier League. His brilliant performance has attracted many top clubs, and Manchester United are among the strongest candidates to sign him.

The Red Devils have already submitted their initial proposal of £55m. But Brentford rejected Man United’s opening bid as they want more than £60m for Bryan Mbeumo. However, Newcastle United, Arsenal, and Tottenham are also interested in signing Mbeumo. But the player has a desire to play for Manchester United.

Victor Gyokeres

Viktor Gyökeres is one of the most wanted strikers in Europe this summer. After a great season with Sporting CP, big clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Juventus are now trying to sign him.

Gyökeres has a release clause of €100 million, but reports say Sporting might accept a lower fee—around €70 million. However, Sporting’s president has strongly denied any special agreement to sell him for less. He wants full value or nothing.

Manchester United are very interested, especially since their new manager, Rúben Amorim, worked with Gyökeres at Sporting. The player enjoyed great success under him and may want to join him again.

Gyökeres is eager to leave Sporting this summer. He has already turned down offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia because he wants to play in a top European league.
