Mason Mount
Manchester United have shown a strong interest in Mason Mount. The English midfielder’s contract with Chelsea FC expires in 2024. Moreover, Mason Mount’s relationship with Chelsea has become complicated as he hasn’t been playing for the club for half of the season.
However, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham are also interested to bring Mount. But Manchester United believe they are the frontrunner to sign the English midfielder. It would cost them about 50 million Euros.
Neymar Jr.
There have been a lot of rumors surrounding Neymar joining Manchester United in the upcoming transfer window. Neymar’s contract with PSG will also expire next year. Therefore, some reports from France stated that Manchester United would go for Neymar Jr.
But it is really difficult to sign Neymar if they go for a striker. According to the Transfer Guru Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are not in contact with Neymar.
Club’s ownership won’t affect the transfer plan – Ten Hag
Currently, the Glazers are in the process of selling Manchester United. The frontrunners are Qatari Sheikh Jasim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe. In any case, Erik Ten Hag said that his transfer plans won’t be affected by the change of ownership.
