It is the final month of the summer transfer window. English clubs have been very busy during this window. Today, we will give you the latest updates on three top English clubs, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea FC.

Man City

Several key players from Manchester City’s treble-winning squad have already left the club. Riyad Mahrez joined Saudi Arabia, while captain Ilkay Gundogan left Man City and signed for FC Barcelona. However, Man City could lose another player before the summer transfer window end.

Bernardo Silva: Bernardo Silva, one of the key players in Man City’s midfield, has been linked with FC Barcelona. The player wants a new challenge as he is desperate to join the Spanish club. Meanwhile, Barca boss Xavi Hernandes also appreciates Bernardo Silva and wants to sign him.

However, City boss Pep Guardiola has been very clear about Bernardo Silva. He doesn’t want to negotiate with any clubs for Silva as he considers Bernardo Silva a crucial player for Man City. PSG also approached this player before Barcelona and Man City rejected them.

Anyway, Silva’s contract with Man City will expire in 2025, and Man City are now preparing to offer a new contract to Bernardo Silva. It’s now up to Bernardo Silva.

Joško Gvardiol: Finally, Man City have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign a very high-rated CB, Joško Gvardiol. The Croatia international showed his potential in the Qatar World Cup and attracted many top European clubs. However, Man City won the race as they agreed to sign Joško Gvardiol for a massive €90m fixed fee without any add-ons.

Joško Gvardio has already arrived in England. He will have his medical today. After that, Man City will officially announce Joško Gvardio as their new summer signing.

Chelsea FC

Robert Sanchez: Chelsea have reached an agreement with Brighton to sign the goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez. At the beginning of the summer transfer window, Chelsea sold Eduardo Mendi to a Saudi club. That is why Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign another goalkeeper to create competition in that No.1 position.

Moises Caicedo: Chelsea have been trying hard to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton. But Brighton’s asking price for Caicedo is too high. Last week, they rejected Chelsea’s record fee of £80m for Caicedo. Brighton wants at least £100m for this midfielder.

There is a feeling that Chelsea might leave the race as Pochettino doesn’t want to spend that amount for Caicedo. On the other hand, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has made it clear he wants Caicedo to stay.

Man United

Rasmus Hojlund: As we reported before, Man United agreed to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta. Last night, Rasmus Hojlund completed his medical. Man United will announce Rasmus Hojlund as their new signing this week.

Sofiyan Amrabat: Man United are now in talks to sign Sofiyan Amrabat from Fiorentina. But his arrival depends on Fred’s departure. Brazil midfielder Fred is likely to leave the club before the transfer window ends. If Man United can sell Fred, they will go for Sofiyan Amrabat.
