The UEFA Euro and Copa America are over, making the summer transfer market very busy. Clubs are making their moves and trying their best to complete all the deals before the season starts. In today’s briefing, we will discuss the transfer updates on Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Real Madrid

Finally, Real Madrid have officially unveiled Kylian Mbappe. There have been tons of drama over the years regarding Mbappe’s move. French club Paris Saint Germain tried their best to keep Kylian Mbappe but failed. Meanwhile, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez did not wish to spend a lucrative amount to sign Mbappe rather he waited until the end.

Kylian Mbappe also kept his word and did not renew his contract with PSG to join the Spanish side as a free agent.

Kylian Mbappe has been very desperate to play for Real Madrid and his dream came true. “I feel privileged to be able to say that I’m a Real Madrid player. It was my dream as a child and I waited a long time for this moment. Now it’s come true. You can’t buy a dream. It’s very satisfying for me and my family. You know how much effort I had to make to get here, many steps. Now I just want to think about the present, I’m a very happy guy and I’m looking forward to seeing the coach and my teammates to play my first game,” Kylian Mbappe said in the presentation.

However, many critics stated that Mbappe can not play along with Vinicius Junior. This is because both players are used to play on the left flank. But Kylian Mbappe ruled out the rumors and replied that he is flexible to play anywhere the coach wants.

Mbappe said, “I will play wherever the coach (Ancelotti) makes me play. In Paris, I played in all three positions. Vinicius is a unique player, a very great player. I will be very happy to play with him, as with all the other players. Great players know how to play together, I think.”

Manchester United

Manchester United have been very busy in this transfer window. They have completed the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. However, the Red Devils and Bologna reached an agreement with a £36.5m transfer fee for Joshua Zirkzee. The Dutch player is all set to play in the next game for Manchester United.

Erik Ten Hag and Co are working on more deals. Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt is very close to joining the Red Devils. The defender has reached an agreement with Man United. However, the negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing. It is expected to see Man United announce the signing of Matthijs de Ligt in the near future.
