DraftKings, the gaming operator, and online betting announced that it is expanding its online casino offering with progressive jackpots, the previous month.
DraftKings Casino exclusively launched the product for its customers in the Garden State; adding progressive jackpots made the casino the first iGaming platform in North America for delivering genre-linked cross-game progressive jackpots.
Signe Yama, DraftKings’s Vice President of Product Operations has said that they are excited to offer DraftKings Casino customers more fun ways to win. He outlines the team’s dedication to pushing innovation forward for creating products that are exclusive to the casino and will bring joy to the operators.
Yama concluded by saying that they have seen early success with the launch of the jackpots in New Jersey and they cannot wait to see more players take home jackpots.
The casino has announced that within a few weeks of its launch of the progressive jackpots for the customers of the casino in New Jersey and the feature was able to bring a lucky player $313,445.80 from the first-ever progressive jackpot of DraftKings.
The Garden State players are given the choice to opt-in and made an added wager on jackpot-eligible games, including roulette, blackjack, and slot games, such as 88 Fortunes if they want to stand a chance to win a jackpot.
Expanding the Base into Other Jurisdictions
DraftKings plans for the feature, which is presently available exclusively to the players of the casino in New Jersey, are going to be expanded to other jurisdictions.
Unlike conventional jackpots generally built by linking specific classes of games, such as table games, slots, or video poker, the casino’s exclusive product is a built-in house that lets the operators link all game types, which are being provided through the app.
Apart from the progressive jackpots, its expanded offering includes 500 more games for online casino players.
