It would be a crazy Friday today! The English Premier League is starting tonight, but the transfer saga in the EPL continues. As we reported yesterday, Tottenham Hotspur accepted Bayern’s bid for Harry Kane, while Bayern were yet to meet the personal terms with Kane.
Meanwhile, the transfer saga about Brighton’s Caicedo took a U-turn last night as Liverpool entered the race. Everything will be sorted at today’s crazy Friday night. Would Harry Kane leave his boyhood club? Can Liverpool sign Caicedo, defeating Chelsea in a bidding war? Let’s take a deep dive.
Bayern remain confident
It has been reported that Tottenham’s chairman Daniel Levy accepted Bayern’s latest bid for Harry Kane. After weeks of negotiations, the German giant agreed to spend £100m package for England’s captain Harry Kane.
But despite being agreed on this deal by the two clubs, there was a feeling that Harry Kane would not join the German side and stay at the Spurs. There was a 50/50 chance. However, Bayern Munich’s officials had a meeting with Kane’s camp last night and tried to convince him.
Bayern Munich are now preparing all the process to sign Kane. Permission has been given to Harry Kane to travel on Friday for medical. Bayern are very confident after last night’s meeting. Everything is set for Harry Kane, and Bayern plans to complete the signing today.
Michael Owen on Harry Kane’s potential move
Former Manchester United, Liverpool, and Real Madrid player Michael Owen heavily criticized Harry Kane’s potential move to Bayern Munich. In his verified Twitter account, Owen wrote, I know FC Bayern Munich are a massive club, and I have huge respect for them but if I were Harry Kane I’d stay put. There’s no great achievement in winning a trophy with them.”

“Real Madrid I would understand. Or one or two top Premier League clubs for that matter. Becoming the all-time Premier League top goal scorer is a bigger achievement than winning the league in a country dominated by 1 team,” Owen added.
Liverpool to HIJACK Caicedo
It is no secret that Chelsea FC have been trying to sign Brighton’s midfielder Moises Caicedo since May. Their latest bid was £80m, which Brighton rejected as their valuation for Caicedo is £100m.
However, Chelsea haven’t left the race and is pushing to make it happens. Meanwhile, Caicedo has been very clear- he wants to leave this summer.
But Liverpool have changed the scenario, entering the race for Moises Caicedo. Last night, Liverpool informed Brighton that they want to make a bid. Ultimately, they submitted an insane bid of £110m late at night. Brighton are set to accept it as they wanted to sell Caicedo to the highest bidder. Meanwhile, Liverpool have prepared all the paperworks for him. They also have booked medical for Caicedo.
