Spanish giant Real Madrid are looking to win their first trophy of the season as they are ready to play the final of Copa Del Rey against Osasuna tonight. Although Real Madrid’s chance to win the league is almost over, they are pretty strong in cup games.

The Los Blancos knocked out their arch-rival, FC Barcelona, in the semifinal of this tournament, making a brilliant comeback. Despite losing the first leg at their home, Real Madrid ran riot over Barcelona in the 2nd leg at Camp Nou. They won the 2nd leg by a 4-0 margin, which secured the final of the Copa del Rey for Real Madrid. Before that, they defeated Atletico Madrid in the quarterfinal. Moreover, Real Madrid are still in the UEFA Champions League. They will face English giant Manchester City in the semifinals of the UCL. However, as for Carlo Ancelotti, he is concentrating all his attention on Copa Del Rey.

We’re going to do our best to win it – Ancelotti

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is very determined to secure the trophy. He shared his thoughts about playing a final. Ancelotti said, “A final is always exciting. I always think before a final that, personally, it could be my last. It’s what I thought in the first one in 2003 but it wasn’t, so I’m thinking the same today.”

“I’ve told the players to enjoy this moment because these are special matches and we’re preparing for them with all the enthusiasm and excitement in the world. We’ve got here on the back of great performances, winning very complicated matches starting with Cacereño, Villarreal, and Atleti and winning 4-0 at the Camp Nou… We’ve got this far on our own merit and we’re going to enjoy the run-up and do our best to win,” Ancelotti added.
