Leeds United welcomed Liverpool at Ellan Road last night. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp played his team with a 4-3-3 formation in this match, where Mo Salah led the attack with Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota. On the other hand, Leeds United’s manager set up the team formation with 4-2-3-1.

The match started with both sides playing attacking football. But Liverpool kept more possession than the home team. However, it took 35 minutes for the All-Reds to score the first goal of the match. Cody Gakpo scored that goal for Liverpool in the 35th minute with a simple tap-in. Moreover, Liverpool doubled their lead within four minutes as Mo Salah found the net in the 39th minute. Therefore, Liverpool went to the break with a two-goal lead.

Returning from the break, Leeds United made the match very exciting. Luis Sinisterra netted the ball for the home team at the very beginning of the 2nd half. But Liverpool didn’t allow any upsets in this match. Diogo Jota scored the third goal for Liverpool with the help of Curtis Jones.
