League leader Arsenal are ready to be in action when they welcome AFC Bournemouth today at Emirate Stadium. The Gunners are just one point ahead of Man City with three games left to play. They are very close to winning the league title after ages, which is why they can not afford to drop a single point in their remaining three matches.

It is no secret Arsenal will go on an all-out attack today when they face off against Bournemouth. They humiliated Chelsea FC with five goals before they secured a thrilling 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, Bournemouth are also on a two-game winning streak in the league. Can they stop Arsenal from winning the title by doing something exceptional today?

Stats & Facts

  • Arsenal have a stunning home record in the Premier League against Bournemouth. The Gunners have won all their six league meetings with Bournemouth at Emirates Stadium.
  • The Cherries have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their 13 league matches against Arsenal. During this run, they have won only one match and lost 10! The remaining two meetings ended in a draw.
  • It took more than two months for Bournemouth to win the first match of the season (against Burnley). But since then, the Cherries have earned 45 points from 26 games. Only the top four teams have won more points than Bournemouth during this period.
  • Arsenal have played 15 games in the Premier League in 2024. They have won 13 of them, while the Gunners lost only one and tied one.

Team News

Arsenal have no fresh injuries following their match against Tottenham Hotspur. However, Jurrien Timber is now available after having a long injury problem. He has played a few minutes for U21, but his return to the senior team is still uncertain.

“We’re not going to know until we throw him in. It’s tricky because it’s only three games to go and he’s missed eight months of football. He’s played only 50 minutes of football with the under-21s, so it’s a question that has to be resolved only by throwing him on the pitch and seeing what happens,” said Mike Arteta in the pre-match press conference.

As for Bournemouth, striker Antoine Semenyo picked up an injury during the match against Brighton and is likely to miss today’s game. The Cherries will also be without Romain Faivre, Tyler Adams, Chris Mepham, Milos Kerkez, Luis Sinisterra, Marcus Tavernier, and Ryan Fredericks due to their respective injury.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Bournemouth

Arsenal is flying and close to winning the league title. They have a very strong record at Emirates Stadium against the Cherries. Since all players of Arsenal are fit and in a good rhythm, it should not be a difficult match for the Gunners.
