Atletico Madrid have overtaken their city rivals Real Madrid to take second place in La Liga after a dominant 5-1 win over Cadiz. The home side was in control from the start of the match, with goals from Griezmann, Morata, Carrasco, and Molina sealing the win for Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid welcomed Cadiz last night at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium. Under Diogo Simione’s tactics, Atletico Madrid started the match with a defensive 5-3-2 formation but switched to a more offensive 3-5-2 setup as they pushed forward. However, Cazid’s boss played his team in a 4-1-4-1 formation.
As the home team, Atletico tried to be dominant in the match. They got an early lead as Antoine Griezmann scored in just two minutes of the game.
