On the other hand, Morocco were the giant killer in the Qatar World Cup, having defeated giants like Belgium, Spain, and Portugal. Morocco surprised the world by qualifying for the semifinals of the Qatar World Cup. However, their dream run ended in the semifinal as they lost to France.
Brazil will play under an interim manager
Since Tite resigned as the head coach, Brazil haven’t appointed a new manager yet. There are strong rumors that Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will be the new coach of Brazil’s National Football Team. Brazilan Man City goalkeeper Ederson made it strong as he opens up Ancelotti’s possibility to become the manager. He said, “I was discussing this with Casemiro, Vinicius Junior, [Eder] Militão. There is a big possibility that he [Ancelotti] comes.”
Ederson added, “Just look at his CV. We will know shortly whether he will be here or not. I hope we can have a new coach quickly. I feel the anticipation too, because there’s too much speculation. Is it a Brazilian or a foreign coach? We are also living that phase of anxiety.”
However, Ramon Menezes is now the interim manager of Brazil. His short era begins tonight with the match against Morocco.
