We are in the middle of the summer transfer window, and Manchester United are looking to sign more players. The English giant already have completed the signing of Mason Mount and Andre Onana. They are now trying to get a striker as well as a defensive midfielder.

However, Manchester United are also working on offloading some players. Today, we will discuss all the potential incomings and outgoings of Manchester United.

Incomings

The Red Devils already signed Mason Mount and Andre Onana this transfer window. But the club hasn’t closed their business yet. It is no secret that Manchester United want to sign a genuine striker, and Rasmus Hojlund is a favorite to sign. Rasmus Hojlund has already agreed upon the personal terms with the Red Devils, as he would like to join the club.

But there is still a valuation gap between the two clubs, Manchester United and Atalanta. Atalanta want €70m for Rasmus Hojlund, which Man United think is overpriced.

Manchester United will submit an official proposal this week to Atalanta FC. It is suggested that Man United would like to have Rasmus Hojlund for €50m.

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag also talked about Rasmus Hojlund last night. In the press conference, the manager said, “We make progress, yeah. But you know how it works – when we have him, we will tell you directly.”

Ten Hag was asked if Man United would pursue Kylian Mbappe, who is likely to leave PSG this season. But Ten Hag didn’t want to talk about this issue. He said, “We never speak about players who are under contract in other clubs.”

Apart from a striker, Manchester United would also like to sign a defensive midfielder. Sofian Amrabat is one of the targets for Erik Ten Hag. But it will take time as Man United’s priority is to sign Rasmus Hojlund as early as possible.

Outgoings

In recent transfer windows, Manchester United failed to offload several players. But this season, they are very active in offloading players. Brazil international Alex Telles bid farewell and joined Saudi club Al Nassr. Al Nassr reached an agreement with Man United to sign Alex Telles for £4m.

Man United announced his departure on their official website. They stated, “Alex Telles has completed a permanent move from Manchester United to Al-Nassr. The 30-year-old full-back has joined the Saudi Premier League outfit following 50 first-team appearances for the Reds. We’d like to thank Alex for his contributions to the club over the last three years and would like to wish him all the best for the future.”

Moreover, Manchester United also agreed to sell Anthony Elanga to Nottingham Forest for £15m. Goalkeeper Dean Henderson is also likely to join Nottingham Forest for £30m. Manchester United are considering Fred, Harry Maguire, and Scott McTominay to sell this summer.
