Manchester United have been looking for a new striker since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo back in December. Anthony Martial seemed to be able to fill Ronaldo’s position as a striker after Ronaldo left the club.

Therefore, Manchester United will need a new striker, and they are already in work to bring a prominent striker to the club. Victor Osimhen and English striker Harry Kane are on Man United’s radar. But who fits better at Man United?

Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen, the 24-years old Nigerian player, is flying in Serie A. He is leading Napoli toward winning the league title after ages. Victor Osimhen is also the leading goalscorer in Serie A, scoring 19 goals in his 21 appearances in Serie A. Osimhen also registered three assists on his name.

However, his electric form attracted many top clubs around Europe. Manchester United are also in the race of signing Victor Osimhen. Moreover, he expressed his desire to play in the English Premier League opens the door for many top clubs. 

He talked after the shocking defeat against Lazio and shared his dream to play in the EPL. Osimhen said, “I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world is an amazing feeling for me.”

The Nigerian added, “A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I’m in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A.”

“I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but like I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”

Harry Kane

Harry Kane is a proven striker and has been scoring goals for years. Kane is a complete package and can suit any top club. However, he will enter the final year contract with Tottenham Hotspur in June.

As Harry Kane hasn’t won a major trophy yet, he is likely to leave the Spurs in the summer transfer window. Manchester United, including Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, are heavily interested in signing the English forward.
